meet our dockhands!

Having recently moved to Victoria, Colin is pivoting  from corporate video to documentary filmmaking and more other socially relevant projects.  He loves learning about what other members of the Dock are up to and finding new ways to connect the community and animate the space.

For most of her adult life Eilen has been engaged in work for non-profit organizations, either as a contractor, employee, volunteer, or board member. Most recently her contracting activities revolve around helping various US-based authors and spiritual teachers with their communications, website content development, membership and fundraising, events and retreat coordination, and building their local and virtual networks. She’s a long-time meditator, now training to teach mindfulness to youth or socially marginalized groups.  Her dream is that one day there is a place downtown where anyone from any walk of life can drop in and sit in meditation or share some meaningful conversation over a cup of tea in an accessible, welcoming space.

altAlison is an aquatic ecologist, and her business Edwards Technical Writing focuses on scientific writing and editing. Alison launched the business in February, 2018. While she builds her business, Alison volunteers as a grant writer for local environmental charities.
